Built in 1858 from sandstone quarried at the nearby Parker River, Lightkeeper’s Café is open daily from 9:30am to 4:30pm, serving breakfast, lunch and snacks.
Our Lightkeeper’s Kitchen focuses on fresh local produce from neighbouring producers; capturing the taste and flavour of the Otways.
The kitchen team bake a fresh batch of scones each morning and these are served with our chefs very own rhubarb and mint jam when in season. We also have fresh jam made locally by Otway Kitchen.
We buy fresh local milk and cheese from Apostle Whey Cheese which is situated on the lushest green hills in the Otways! They offer daily cheese tastings; check out their ‘mooternity’ ward if you visit.
Fresh free range eggs are sourced from Colac. Our beef is from a farm on the coast at Princetown just near the 12 Apostles.
Hello Coffee is locally roasted in Apollo Bay and our delicious range of tea is made also in Apollo Bay by Tea & Scandal.
Fresh bread is supplied by the Apollo Bay Bakery. We aim to make most of our cakes but we also are proud to offer cakes and pies form the Little Crumb Bakery in Apollo Bay. We also offer a range of alcoholic beverages including locally brewed Prickly Moses beers and ciders and Dinny Goonan wines.
