Lightstation Heritage Precinct
Open Daily 9.30am- 4pm
On Wednesday the 27th of November the Lightstation Precinct will be closing early for staff emergency management training – last entry 2:30pm, buildings and site will be closed at 3pm.
****LIGHTHOUSE ACCESS CURRENTLY RESTRICTED******
Due to an earthquake in the region in October 2023, access to the interior of the Lighthouse is currently unavailable.
The wider Lightstation precinct and other heritage buildings are unaffected and remain open during this time with a discounted entry fee.
Our guides will be continuing to deliver history talks running throughout the day in the Old Workshop.
Closed Christmas Day
Access to the Lightstation Heritage Precinct and Lighthouse is not available outside of opening hours. The Lighthouse can be viewed from a distance, from viewpoints along the Great Ocean Walk, when the precinct is closed.
The Lightkeeper’s Cafe
Open Daily 10am- 3.30pm
On Wednesday the 27th of November the Lightstation Precinct will be closing early for staff emergency management training – the cafe will be closed from 2pm, last entry to the precinct is 2:30pm, buildings and site will be closed at 3pm.
The Lightkeeper’s Cafe serves tea/coffee, a selection of slices and our famous Scones with Jam & Cream. Due to its location and limited heritage infrastructure, the cafe is accessible only to visitors of the Lightstation Heritage Precinct.
